After a long wait due to pitches, weather and the leagues. Tongwynlais RFC wil manage to play their Mallett Cup 2nd round game against Rumney 2nds at the Riverside park in Llanrumney this Saturday February 6th, We have been waiting for nearly two months to get a second bite of the cherry as in the same round of the cup Tongwynlais and Rumney II drew 3-3 after extra time with Rumney going through on the away team rule.
Who knows this year it may be the Ton who will go through. After a season where 4 league games have been lost by less than 7pts Tongwynlais feel that it is the time to take the next step to the next level and progress.
