Tongwynlais 2nds played their 1st game of the season against a strong West Mon Develpoment xv. Due to work and familty commitments, the starting line up was made up of 12 forwards and 3 backs. All who played out of position acquitted themselves well. Two tries were scored by Jordan Baker with 2 conversins by Carwyn Rees. At one point the game was balanced at 15-14 with Ton White Stars attacking with some flowing rugby as the few backs managed to connect, only for the final pass, for a certain try, to go to the ground. Another opportuniy for Ton to smash and grab the game came with abrasive running and accurate passing was foiled by a misheard call 5m out with the ball ending up with the opposition's hands The counter attack from this ended wiith eventually a try to West Mon to seall the game.
